Snow Polo St. Moritz

22 to 24 January 2027. St. Moritz.

The house view

Polo on a frozen lake, with the whole Alps as the grandstand.

From 22 to 24 January 2027, the 42nd Snow Polo World Cup returns to the lake at St. Moritz. By day, the matches seen from the VIP tent. At night, the gala. All around, the most famous village in the Alps at the height of winter.

A week later, on the same lake, comes The I.C.E. St. Moritz, the concours of elegance for classic cars on ice. Both fit into one trip.

The access

Three doors onto the same lake.

VIP

The tent beside the field, with lunch served, wines, Perrier-Jouët champagne, a cigar lounge and a seat in the VIP stand.

Gala

Cocktails and a black-tie dinner at the Victoria Hotel, then the after party, on the night the whole village dresses up. On request.

Chukker Club

The Chukker Club stand, with champagne and canapés, for those who want the game up close and the rest of the day free.

How WAYFARER does it

Three ways to spend January in St. Moritz.

Four nights

The polo weekend

21 to 25 January. The VIP tent on all three match days, a hotel in the village and a car from Zurich to the door. The gala, on request.

Nine nights

The Engadine week

21 to 30 January, with the Snow Polo and The I.C.E. on the same lake. In between, skiing on Corviglia, a day on the Bernina Express and the right tables in the village.

Made to measure

Your winter

A chalet with a chef, a private ski instructor and a helicopter or jet to Samedan, the airport a few minutes from the village.

Flights are always separate: business class to Zurich or a jet to Samedan, at the best fares.

Where to stay

Five addresses in the village.

  • Badrutt’s PalaceThe tower above the lake, the village’s historic address since 1896.
  • Kulm HotelThe oldest in the village, next door to the Cresta Run.
  • Suvretta HouseAway from the centre, with the ski slope starting at the door.
  • Carlton HotelSuites only, looking out over the lake.
  • Grand Hotel des Bains KempinskiIn St. Moritz Bad, with the spa of the Engadine springs.

The difference

Why do it with us.

01

The tent and the night

VIP on all three days in one request. For the gala, we handle the waiting list and the right evenings in the village.

02

The hotel and the tables

The village has few grand hotels. Room and restaurants come in one arrangement.

03

The mountain around it

Skiing with an instructor, lunch in a mountain hut, a day on the Bernina line.

04

One number, always

Snowstorm, diverted flight, postponed match: someone handles it for you.

Get in touch

Tell us how many you are. We will tell you what exists on the lake.

A reply the same working day, a written proposal, one person on the other side.

Frequently asked

Before you write.

Is access secured?

It depends on the date and on what you want. In the proposal we confirm in writing only what is already secured. When something still rests with third parties, we say so plainly rather than promise it.

What does it cost?

There is no price list, because each trip is built once. The figure depends on the access category, the stay and the number of guests. The proposal itemises everything, with no obligation.

Can I bring a group?

Yes. Groups change the logistics and sometimes open doors that do not exist for two people: a whole house, a private table, a boat. Tell us the number when you write.

What if the date changes?

Event calendars change, and that is not ours to control. When they do, we rebuild whatever can be rebuilt and tell you at once what is refundable and what is not, according to each supplier’s rules. Tournament tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and a booking stands only once payment is confirmed.
