The right pass
The festival sells a Party Pass, for the parties alone, and a Full Pass, which adds the dining experiences. For anyone staying the whole week, the full one almost always makes sense.

The house reading
State of Mind is more than the festival’s name. It is the idea: to slow down during the one holiday when the whole country speeds up.
S.O.M. is small by design. Attendance is capped at around 1,200, and close to a third of the crowd flies in from abroad. The nights belong to electronic music with international names; the afternoons, to yoga and wellness on a deck at the Fasano facing the sea.
Each edition has its own theme and staging, and the last was Terra Nova. What never changes is Trancoso at Carnival: a full village, houses booked months ahead, and Quadrado tables decided the day before. That is where we come in.

What we arrange
The festival handles the nights. The rest is ours.
The pass covers the parties. A week in Trancoso at Carnival asks for more than that, and it is the part that decides whether the trip goes well.
A house on the Quadrado or by the beach
At Carnival, Trancoso fills up. The houses worth having close months ahead, and the difference between walking to the Quadrado and twenty minutes on a dirt road sets the rhythm of all five days.
Stay: a whole house with staff, or a hotel.
A table on the free nights
Between parties, the Quadrado’s restaurants are the village’s social life. A table at the right hour, with the house told who is coming.

The way there
A flight to Porto Seguro, then around an hour to Trancoso by ferry or by road. Transfers both ways, and a driver between house, beach and parties through the week.

What we say upfront
S.O.M. Festival is organised and sold by third parties, and the 2027 programme has not been announced. House, table and transport are ours to arrange; for the pass, we confirm in writing what is secured before any payment.
Some spend Carnival on the avenue. Others would rather watch the sun rise over Trancoso.
