The house reading
New Year is decided in March, not in December.
The three destinations work on different logics. Trancoso needs a year of lead time and delivers a house with staff, sand at your door and closed parties. Punta del Este is the most social and the easiest to arrange late, with good structure for larger groups. St. Barths is the most international and the most expensive, with a full harbour and an island running at capacity.
What separates a good New Year from an ordinary night is always the same: the right house, a table held on the two nights that matter, and being on the list for the parties that are never announced.
