The house reading
One week in December when Miami becomes the art market capital of the Americas.
From 1 to 7 December, Art Basel Miami Beach takes over the Convention Center and pulls everything around it: Design Miami next door, NADA, Untitled on the sand at Ocean Drive and more than twenty satellite fairs across the city. In 2026 the fair brings 272 galleries and platforms from more than 40 countries, and Brazil arrives with seven galleries, the third-largest national presence.
What people talk about afterwards is not only the fair. It is the VIP days before the public, the private collections that open their doors, the gallery dinners, the beach parties and the tables that disappear weeks ahead. WAYFARER puts you in on the right days and arranges the city around them.
In numbers
One week, the whole city in art.

The access
In where the week happens.
Three levels of entry
The VIP card, by invitation, opens Wednesday and Thursday. Premium Connection gives the vernissage and the Collectors Lounge. A ticket covers the public days. Every proposal states in writing which one you hold.
Collections by appointment
Rubell Museum and the Margulies Collection, reopened in November, timed into the itinerary and, for those travelling as collectors, the Rubell’s reserve collection, away from the public galleries.
The nights
Gallery dinners, beach parties, Art Basel’s awards night and the Miami Beach house lists.

Brazil at the fair
Brazil is Art Basel’s third country.
Seven galleries from São Paulo, Rio and the South bring their artists to Miami Beach in 2026. For those who want to meet, talk or buy, WAYFARER introduces you to the gallerists, with a set time at the booth.
It is the most natural meeting of the week for anyone travelling from Brazil, and one no other trip to the fair offers.

How it works
Three steps to a proposal.
You tell us the date, how many are travelling and what you would like to see.
We check real availability of access, hotel and table, and send the proposal in writing.
We adjust until it is right. Only then is there a booking and payment.
Frequently asked
Before you write.
Is access secured?
It depends on the date and on what you want. In the proposal we confirm in writing only what is already secured. When something still rests with third parties, we say so plainly rather than promise it.
What does it cost?
There is no price list, because each trip is built once. The figure depends on the access category, the stay and the number of guests. The proposal itemises everything, with no obligation.
Can I bring a group?
Yes. Groups change the logistics and sometimes open doors that do not exist for two people: a whole house, a private table, a boat. Tell us the number when you write.
What if I buy a work?
We coordinate shipping, insurance and paperwork for the work with a specialist art shipper, and follow the conversation with the gallery until the piece arrives. Freight, insurance and taxes are charged separately, case by case.
What if the date changes?
Event calendars change, and that is not ours to control. When they do, we rebuild whatever can be rebuilt and tell you at once what is refundable and what is not, according to each supplier’s rules.
